All committees for this phase of the project will be focused on action steps needed to accomplish the various recommendations made in the Steering Committee Report. The primary committee will be a governor appointed Implementation Committee. Members will be charged with carrying out recommendations around the finance and accountability structures.
Other project committees are:
- Regulatory - define how agencies will work together more effectively, review and finalize the draft legislative concept and review and finalize the proposed memorandum of understanding.
- Finance - develop a template that defines what elements are to be included in the budget.
- Education - identify and problem solve implementation issues and develop a communication strategy targeted to the education community.
- Market Assessment - develop a scope of work, recruit consultants and monitor progress of the market assessment.
- IT Assessment - to develop a scope of work, recruit consultants and monitor progress of the information technology assessment.
